Washington Retailers are offering rebates on new refrigerators and other appliances . Contact your retailer for information!

Vera Water & Power is STILL offering rebates for installation of windows.

Here are the qualifications for Vera’s $6 / sq ft rebate.

Must be a current Vera Water & Power customer using electric heat (baseboard, heat pump forced air furnace)
Must be installing new windows using the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) rating of no higher than .30. Patio doors rated no higher than .35 (NFRC)
Preconstruction inspection by Michael DeVleming must be completed before installation of new windows.
Post installation inspection by Michael DeVleming needs to be completed. During inspection, he will collect a copy of the invoice for Vera’s records.
Call Michael, Energy Management Director, at 924-3800 to set up an appointment for an inspection.

Two Requirements:

1.) Call vera Water & Power at (509) 924-3800 and ask for Mike to sign up for the Program.

2.) All equipment must passes the "PTCS" certification. this can be accomplished by selecting a "PTCS" certified contractor to install your equipment.

ELECTRIC HOT WATER TANKS -

rebate amount . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$100*

All Vera electric customers installing electric hot water tanks in new construction, replacing old hot water tanks are eligible for a rebate *if they meets the following criteria:

* Tank must have an energy factor (E.F.) of .93 or higher.

* Tank must be set on a 2-inch thick insulation pad. Pads are available at Vera's office free to Vera customers.

* A shut-off valve needs to be installed on the incoming water line.

* An inspection will need to be scheduled within 30 days of installation and must be completed by someone in the Vera Conservation Department.

* At this time, a copy of the sales receipt will be collected for Vera Water and Power's records.
