Rebate info For Vera Water & Power
Vera Water & Power has teamed up with JACO ENVIRONMENTAL to recycle your old working refrigerators and freezers! We'll come pick it up for FREE, plus send you $30.00! Here are the qualifications for Vera’s $6 / sq ft rebate. Must be a current Vera Water & Power customer using electric heat (baseboard, heat pump forced air furnace)
"High Efficiency" HEAT PUMP program REBATE
= $450.00 Two Requirements: 1.) Call vera Water & Power at (509) 924-3800 and ask for Mike to sign up for the Program. 2.) All equipment must passes the "PTCS" certification. this can be accomplished by selecting a "PTCS" certified contractor to install your equipment. If you would like to print this information out for your use, please print it in landscape width to include all the information across the sheet.
ELECTRIC HOT WATER TANKS - REBATES ARE AVAILABLE rebate amount . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$100* All Vera electric customers installing electric hot water tanks in new construction, replacing old hot water tanks are eligible for a rebate *if they meets the following criteria: * Tank must have an energy factor (E.F.) of .93 or higher. * Tank must be set on a 2-inch thick insulation pad. Pads are available at Vera's office free to Vera customers. * A shut-off valve needs to be installed on the incoming water line. * An inspection will need to be scheduled within 30 days of installation and must be completed by someone in the Vera Conservation Department. * At this time, a copy of the sales receipt will be collected for Vera Water and Power's records. Here is a partial list of area retailers and plumbers providing HIGH EFFICIENCY hot water tanks in the greater Spokane area. These tanks are eligible for the $100.00 rebate if all of above-listed criteria is met.

Clothes Washer Rebates are now available! Rebates for High Efficiency Energy Star clothes washing machines are available in the amount of $30. Contact Mike prior to purchasing for the proper models. His number is 509-924-3800.
